"From 2015 to 2017, I lived in Nogales, where I worked at the U.S. Consulate. Sonora is vibrant, proud, and rich in visual contrast—colonial streets, desert landscapes, and festivals that draw entire communities together. During my time there, I moved through a part of Mexico seldom seen beyond the headlines. Traveling between Nogales, Hermosillo, and Magdalena de Kino, I photographed the streets, celebrations, and the people who give this region its character and force."
