"My relationship with Nepal began in 2009, when my husband was posted to the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu. Nepal carries a presence that is difficult to define but immediate to experience—hospitality, devotion, and a pace of life that invites attention. I have returned many times since, most recently for Maha Shivaratri in 2026. These photographs reflect an ongoing relationship with a place that continues to unfold with each visit."
