"I came to George Town in March 2026 for a documentary workshop with photographers Matt Stirn and Deanne Fitzmaurice, tasked with finding a publishable story. What I found instead was harder to reduce to a single narrative: communities and histories sharing the same streets with an ease that feels both intentional and entirely natural. These photographs document a place where history has not been erased by modernization, but continues to live alongside it. The people—and the legacies they carry—are the true subjects."
