Building Puentes Across Naciones
Images documenting the February 16, 2017, demonstration for immigration rights in Washington, D.C., were exhibited at Building Puentes Across Naciones, a cultural exhibition organized by the U.S. Consulate Nogales held on July 4, 2017.

On February 16, 2017, immigration rights advocates marched on Washington, D.C., as part of a coordinated national day of action. Photographs from that demonstration were exhibited later the same year at Building Puentes Across Naciones, a binational cultural exhibition presented by the U.S. Consulate Nogales on July 4, 2017. The exhibition placed the images in conversation with work by Mexican and U.S. artists addressing the border as both a physical and political boundary.
